Animal welfare fund raising

Girraween High School is blazing a trail with their fund raising activities for animal welfare.  On a regular basis, the students organise a lunch time market. They sell donated, unloved treasures to the school community.  In doing so, they recycle items that may otherwise end up as landfill, support a very worthwhile cause and raise awareness.  Having donated $1000 in 2017, they have set their sights even higher for 2018.  Girraween High School hopes to be an inspiration for others to do the same.
