Year 10 offers opportunities for students to be leaders of our school and the wider community. Students are now encouraged to be mentors for junior students as peer leaders and high Rrsolves leaders.
Parents are also invited to attend an information evening on subject selections for the higher school certificate. This is an important evening with valuable information about the higher school certificate and the requirements of NSW education standards association (NESA).
Students are also involved in Australian business week (ABW). ABW is one of Australia's most successful enterprise education programs for secondary students. During the program Year 10 students will participate in activities that will test and develop their business skills, teamwork, leadership abilities and creativity. They further develop their teamwork and leadership skills by completing a week of work experience.
The Year 10 students also participate in a presentation on the importance of sleep. This is a specific area of focus for our students in the senior years.
